CHAMBER
MEMBERS BECOME 'READING BUDDIES'
The
Colton Chamber along with the
San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools and
the Colton Joint Unified School District,
kicked off a ‘Reading Buddies’ program at McKinley
Elementary School on January 29. This volunteer reading program
involves business, civic, community and education leaders
in reading to students once a month.
These
reading dates are the 3rd Thursday of the month and take only
one hour from start to finish. If you would like to take part
in the Reading Buddies program,
call Pam at the Chamber office, 909-825-2222.
MARCH
QUAD CHAMBER MIXER
Our
Chamber will be hosting the first ever Quad Mixer in the month
of March. The Bloomington, Grand Terrace
and Loma Linda Chambers will join
us in not only a Chamber Mixer, but also a unique buying event.
Al’s Garden Art will be
the location of the mixer and those attending will also have
the opportunity to purchase any of their garden items at a
discounted price. Al’s is located at 311 W. Citrus Ave.
The mixer will be open to anyone interested in attending not
just Chamber members. Tours will be held of their plant and
process during the event.
